Afro Food, an emerging players in the retail business, has launched a winter competition for its customers.
Modelled along the traditional OK Grand Challenge, which has unfortunately been discontinued, in the last five years, the promotion is dubbed Dream Come True.
Customers who buy goods worth more than US$20, get a coupon which qualifies them to enter the draw to be contacted on June 27, October 3 and December 31. A winner at each of the three draws will walk away with a Mazda BT50.
Apart from the vehicles, other prizes also include plasma televisions, fridges and stoves.
“Lucky customers who buy goods worth over US$30 stand a chance to enter “Pop a Balloon” in store competition with prizes ranging from cellphones, toasters, irons, jugs and purchase vouchers,” said Afro Foods.
Afro Foods is slowly emerging to be a giant in the retail sector, especially after some of the traditional players started to streamline their business as the effects of the economic downturn weighed heavily on them last year.
The retail outlet has been opening a number of new branches and it has also emerged the cheapest shop each time a survey has been contacted.
