Doves Funeral Reviews Policies

Doves Funeral Assurance has reviewed and revalued policies in line with the changes in the operating environment.

Some of the change in the operating environment include the liberalization of the exchange rate regime as well as the monetary policy which buttressed this and both have had a negative impact on investment values.

Zimbabwe has adopted the use of multiple currencies as a result of the new fiscal and monetary policies announced in January this year. As such, Doves Funeral Assurance said it was proper that their clients also make the necessary changes.

“Doves wishes to advise all its valued clients that due to the recent structural adjustments and monetary policy changes which have impacted negatively on investment values, all policies have had their contributions revalued. As a result of this development, clients need to be aware of their policy values before any claim can be honoured. We therefore urge all our clients to visit their nearest Doves office for endorsement of these changes and completion of th revival process urgently,” said the company.

Most firms were hit hard by inflation and getting to know the real value of policy holders has been a nightmare. It has been highlighted that the best many companies would do is to work out a solution that would give a policyholder the urge to continue making contributions.
